Planning for 2021

The lockdown restrictions inhibited our usual plans for
the Summer but we managed to plant up
the tubs and containers around the town centre
with a colourful array of plants.

The summer plants were replaced with
Autumn/Winter plants in October and we
are hoping to resume with our usual number
of hanging baskets around the
town centre in 2021.

Thanks to everyone who has donated towards funding the displays this year.

 Cluster of Nuts Garden

In March 2019 Wetherby in Bloom Volunteers started work on on our new garden at The Cluster of Nuts Car Park.  We had top soil delivered and made two beds, either side of the anchor, in which we planted shrubs and perennials,to give colour and structure all year round.
At the end of the month contractors laid the turf for us.

At our 30th Anniversary Celebration on 29th June 2019 the garden was officially
opened by our Town Mayor. A plaque was placed to commemorate
30 years of Wetherby in Bloom making a big difference to the town.
