During the first week in June all the baskets went up and the planters were planted which means our floral walk is now at its blooming best. You can download a copy here Floral Walk or obtain a hard copy from the Wetherby Tourist Information Office in the Library, Westgate. The Walk starts you off outside the Town Hall and takes about one hour it also takes you to some interesting places in town you would not necessarily normally visit.

New floral sculpture at Bridgefoot Gadens.

Sadly both John Tatterton and Moreen Bentham passed away near the end of 2015. Both were founder members in 1989 and made a major contribution to the success of Wetherby in Bloom.  On Wednesday 21st September 2016 a magnificent floral sculpture was installed at Bridgefoot Gardens. The donation by Wetherby in Bloom was made possible through a significant bequest from a supporter. The inspiration for the design was from the memory of John,  a true Yorkshiremen hence the Roses subject. The roses represent all those committed supporters of Wetherby in Bloom who are no longer with us as explained on the plaque attached to the railings.
